IEC Electrical Apprenticeship Open House rescheduled!

The IEC Apprenticeship Open House has been rescheduled to Tuesday, May 12, 2009.  The Open House is an INFORMATIONAL session for high school juniors, seniors, parents, teachers, and interested members of the public.  Current apprentices, graduates, instructors, and employers will discuss apprenticeship, careers in the electrical industry, and explain the process to apply.  There will be time for questions, hands-on displays, and tours of the HACC Midtown facilities.  Our program will start at 6:30 pm, and sign-in will begin at 6:00 pm.  A response form will be sent out in March.

Open Enrollment dates have changed

The IEC Electrical Apprenticeship Program accepts applications during Open Enrollment periods twice each year.  The dates for 2009 have changed.  Now, applications will be accepted April 13 – 24, and June 1-12, 2009.  Official notices with detailed application instructions will be sent out one month prior to each of these dates.  If you would like to be added to the official notice distribution list or receive other information about apprenticeship and electrical careers, please send an email to Christi Buker at cbuker@bukerteam.com or call 697-7553.
